Chelsea Rose Sedgwick Wennerstrom

November 8, 1989 — November 3, 2024

Bountiful, UT

Chelsea was born to Bruce and Barbara Sedgwick in Bountiful, Utah, on November 8, 1989. She was the 3rd of 4 children, Sharon, Jeanette, and Bruce Chance. She passed away unexpectedly from a Pulmonary Embolism in Bountiful on November 3, 2024, leaving her family devastated.

From a young age she was full of life, conviction, and had no fear. Chelsea loved to have a good time and be the life of the party. She was so full of love, treating many people around her like "the best friend". She made huge impressions with everyone she was involved with, making everything special or magical. She cherished spending time with her family and found great joy planning many family activities. She loved to craft, decorate, plant flowers, especially Roses, and go camping at her family property.

In 2008, she met her sweetheart, Vance Wennerstrom, and they began a new chapter in life. In 2012, they purchased their first home in West Valley where they spent several years making memories. In 2016, they acquired an old family estate in Bountiful and remodeled it, starting their "Happy Ever After". In 2017, they welcomed their first miracle baby, Oliver. In March of 2021, they were happily married and decided to grow their family. In February of 2024, they welcomed their second miracle child, Theodore.

Chelsea excelled in her ten-year career at Progrexion and the year she spent at Huntsman. However, after the birth of her second child, she decided to become a stay-at-home mother and volunteer at Tolman Elementary helping the young kids with reading and writing.

Survivors include her husband Vance, sons Oliver (7) and Theodore (9 months.) Parents, Bruce and Barbara Sedgwick, sisters Sharon Sedgwick and Jeanette Navajo (Cody), brother Bruce Chance Sedgwick and many nephews and nieces. Grandparents Bruce and Gloria Sedgwick, and in-laws Vaughn and Karen Wennerstrom. Preceded in death by her loving grandmother, Louise Trott.

She leaves behind a large extended family and has left a hole that can never be filled.
