Carrie Smith

Carrie Smith, 82, of Syracuse, Utah, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on December 2, 1943, in Cuyahoga, Ohio.

Carrie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elijah C. Smith and her sister, Vickey Bowman.

She is survived by her daughter, Christine (Smith) Davies and husband Bill: her grandson, Zac Davies and wife Heather and her treasured great-grandchildren, Aubree G and Ryker J.

Carrie dedicated 40 years of hard work and service to Zeller Bach, where she built lasting friendships and earned the respect of many coworkers throughout her career.

She found joy in the simple things in life and loved spending time outdoors. Carrie enjoyed four wheeling, caring for flowers, pulling weeds in the yard, and most of all spending time outside with her family creating memories that will be cherished forever.

Carrie will be remembered for her loving heart, strong work ethic, and the warmth she brought to everyone around her. Her presence, laughter and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
