Bruce A. Stone

October 20, 1951 — September 14, 2025

Farmington, UT

Bruce A. Stone was born October 20, 1951, in Chicago Heights, Illinois, to Clarence E. and Lorraine J. Glassel Stone. His family moved to Arizona, where at 18 years old he chose to serve his country as a United States Marine, which he remained proud of until his death.

After his service he relocated to Nevada and eventually settled in Utah working as a government civilian at Hill Air Force Base. He retired from Hill A.F.B. in 2013 after 31 years. Retirement did not slow him down. He worked a part-time job for several more years, as well as working on home improvements.

Bruce enjoyed traveling, being with family and friends and riding his motorcycle. At 14 years old, he earned enough money to purchase and restore an unassembled Harley Davidson motorcycle and drove off on it when he turned 16. For over fifty years, riding his Harley was his happy place.

He was an avid story teller, bringing friends and loved ones together to share in life’s adventures and loved making people laugh with his great sense of humor. He absolutely loved ice-cream and when asked what his favorite flavor was he said, “ice-cream”. He loved animals, especially his little dog, Cheeto. Bruce was his person.

In 2003, he met Tracy Johnson. It wasn’t until 2005 that he called her to go out on a date, not realizing she would become his wife. Their date never ended and in 2013 they were married. He was a great husband and loved her dearly.

Bruce was with family when he passed away on September 14, 2015, of complications from cancer. He is survived by his wife, children, brothers and sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and his little Cheeto dog.

God bless you and protect you, we love you and will miss you daily.
