Bruce William Hyde, age 63, passed away peacefully at home in Kaysville, Utah on March 22, 2026, following a long battle after suffering a massive brain hemorrhage in December 2024. He had his wife at his side and also was surrounded his family and friends that loved him deeply.
He was born on December 16, 1962, in Logan, Utah to William Gloyd and Judy Pritchett Hyde.
Bruce was happily married, on October 4, 2019, to his beloved wife, Sharon Poulter. Together, they built a life centered on love, companionship, and the simple joys of being together. All who knew them knew the love they shared.
A dedicated painter by trade, Bruce took pride in his work and the skill he developed over the years. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, relaxing, and, most importantly, spending time with his wife and family. He will be remembered for his steady presence, his appreciation for life’s quiet moments, and his love for those closest to him.
Bruce was preceded in death by his father, William (Bill) Gloyd Hyde. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Poulter and his mother Judy Pritchett Hyde. He is also survived by his brothers; Brett Hyde, Brandon (Lindy) Hyde, and niece and nephews Kayden (Heidi ) Hyde, Jade, Jarek, Jordan Hyde.
Although Bruce never had any biological children of his own, he did have 4 wonderful stepchildren who loved him very much. They are Josh and Nick Lindquist, April (Caydn) Eggleston and Braden Nevling.
Bruce had many people who loved him including his wife’s father, Larry Poulter, her brother and her five sisters and their husbands who all loved him dearly. Bruce was full of life and had a big heart and a great sense of humor.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, family, and all who knew him.
A viewing will be held at Russon Brothers Mortuary located at 1941 N Main St, Farmington, UT 84025 on March 30, 2026, beginning at 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. followed by the family prayer. Internment and graveside ceremony will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Hooper Cemetery located at 5290 S 6300 W St., Hooper, UT 84315.
A celebration of life will be held after the internment at Jensen Nature Park Visitor Center located at 3176 S Bluff Rd, Syracuse, UT 84075. Please join us there to share your memories of Bruce and have a bite to eat and a Coke.
