Brian T. Mann passed away April 18, 2024 at home surround by his family after enduring cancer for over a year. He was born in Salt Lake City to his parents, Keith Tovey and Bernice Tingey Mann as the fourth child in a family of 5 children.  Brian came from a happy family whom he supported, and where he loved to play basketball and joke with his siblings.   His father was happy he born late December because he made a great tax write off.

Brian graduated from Viewmont High. He loved to play high school sports and excelled in football, basketball, and his most beloved sport baseball.  Brian played city leagues baseball and church softball until age took him out of the game.  Later in his life he loved to watch his grandchildren play sports. He tried to make it to as many of their games as he could. He and his wife had the opportunity to see his favorite team play, The Saint Louis Cardinals, at Bush Stadium.

Brian chose to serve his country by voluntarily joining the Army Reserves rather than be drafted.  During his service he was called on a Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the Central British Mission, United Kingdom. After completing his mission, he came home and completed his service in the Army.

Brian married his wife Judy in the Salt Lake Temple almost 50 years ago, and raised their 3 children, Arin, Jamie, and Brian Jonathon. They are fortunate to have 9 grandchildren. His wife, children and grandchildren are the joy of his life.

He was a hard worker and started working for his father making pre-cast fireplaces and window sills. He went on to laying rebar and building many pre-cast projects in Salt Lake City and the surrounding area. He ended his career working with Hughes General Contractors.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends who love him.
