Braxton James Jenson

January 17, 2000 — August 20, 2025

Bountiful, UT

We all know that one person who could walk into a room without knowing anyone yet leave knowing everyone. That was Braxton. He was the one whose smile was contagious, whose laugh you couldn’t help but join in on, and whose heart was so genuine you’d feel at ease the moment you’re around him. Friends and family were his center of gravity. He showed up every time, his bright light touching countless lives. No matter who he was talking to, no matter the age, he made each one feel like his best friend, even texting out of the blue to see how they were doing.

Braxton was born January 17, 2000, in Salt Lake City, Utah, and reunited with family in Heaven, August 20, 2025. He grew up in Bountiful, Utah, graduating in 2018 from Bountiful High School. Forever a Brave! Braxton was known for his kindness, willingness to listen, and helping others when needed. He carried a passion for life and compassion for people. He was big, loud, and loved with his whole heart.

Whether lifting a friend’s spirits, hitting the gym, planning a cousin night or friend get together he was all in, and ready for life’s next adventure. Not only did he have fun with his friends, Braxton found joy in simple, soulful moments like setting up a camping chair in the garage and sitting with his dog, listening to the rain, or turning up the music and going for a long ride to let the world slow down.

He is survived by his loving family; mother, Jasmine; sisters, Kinsley (Sandro) and Ellie Jenson; father, Adam Jenson (Courtney); Grandparents, Jim Florence (Tracey); Duane Jenson (Elizabeth); Rorie Jenson; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews whom he adored; and dear friends who were like family. All who were blessed to share in his journey. He will be remembered for his laughter, beaming smile, the best bear hugs, and the way he made every person he met feel seen and valued. He is preceded in death by his sister Harleigh Jane Jenson and his uncle Tyson Florence.

Though his time with us was far too short, Braxton filled each day with friendship, laughter, and love that will never be forgotten. Words are not powerful enough to adequately portray the huge mark he left in this world in all sorts of unexpected ways and places. He will be missed tremendously!

“Love ya Fam” …… “Love ya Brax”.
