Bonnie Lou Whyte

August 3, 1944 — January 27, 2023

Bonnie Lou Whyte passed on Friday, January 27, 2023 from a valiant fight with cancer.
Bonnie was born August 03, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah to David Whyte (deceased) and Jetta Burningham Whyte (deceased).  She was the oldest of 6 children, preceded in death by her brother: Dan E. Whyte and sister Linda (Terry) Whyte. She is survived by her siblings Jackie Gailey, Terry (Merrilee) Whyte, and Davie (Karen) Whyte; her nieces and nephews; her close friend, Vaun Zell Shallenberger; and her cherished pets Rosie, Big Boy, & Precious. 
Bonnie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, received her endowments in the Salt Lake Temple, and served diligently by helping her family, friends, neighbors, and ward members with whatever they needed.
Bonnie was a teacher at West High School, where she taught Biology and Physiology.  She loved what she taught as well as her many, many students.
Bonnie's passion was for the outdoors.  She truly enjoyed camping, fishing, and exploring.  She found the beauty in all the wildlife and nature she could see. 
Bonnie's true love was her family and her many pets, of which she considered her children. Bonnie memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
