Betty Garlock Mead Simmons Stebbing

Betty Garlock Mead Simmons Stebbing was born July 24, 1933, passed away October 22, 2025, as a result of natural causes.

She is survived by five of her children and spouses: Julie G. Beard, Kennie Sue Hansen, William Scott Simmons, Kathy Dawnette Murphy and Angela Mari Simmons. She was preceded in death by her son Steven Wayne Simmons. She has been blessed with twenty-four grandchildren and thirty-three great grandchildren.

Our mother, grandmother and great grandmother was dearly loved and will be missed. She spent her life cherishing her family. Many fun events were hosted at her home with fond memories.

She was very talented as an artist with hand painted murals in her home and in her Loving Thoughts embossing business she shared with her beloved sister. She enjoyed ceramics and loved to travel making several trips outside of the US with her daughters.

Mom was a tease and loved to have fun.

A viewing and services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meetinghouse, 3350 South 100 East, Bountiful, Utah on Saturday, October 25, 2025. The viewing will be held from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. with the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. The graveside dedication and burial will be on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at the Farmington City Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.

The funeral service will be streamed live on the Russon Mortuary Live Facebook page and on this obituary page. The live-stream will begin about 10-15 minutes prior to the service and will be posted below.
