Betty enjoyed sewing, reading, learning, cooking, gardening, canning, shopping, watching movies, family history work, attending the temple, and ice cream night every Sunday night with her grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family.
Betty was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She had a deep faith and unwavering testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ that she cherished and loved to share with others. As a young adult she served a mission in the Southern States. Later in life, she and Phyll served a Church Education Mission in the West Africa Mission. Betty served another mission in the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah. She served in many church callings: Primary, Young Women’s, Relief Society, Stake Relief Society and served as a Family History teacher.
