Benjamin Grey Hansen, 19, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, September 5th, 2024.
Born to Matthew Scott Hansen and Sonya Rosemarie Hansen on June 16, 2005, Grey was a beloved son, brother, grandson and friend who touched the lives of everyone who knew him with his kindness, creativity, sense of humor and unwavering love for his family.
Grey was known for his deep passion for music. From an early age he discovered a love for creating and recording music, spending countless hours learning & perfecting his craft. He taught himself intricate recording programs. Grey composed and recorded over a hundred songs, pouring his heart and soul into every melody and lyric. Music was not just a hobby for Grey; it was his way of expressing his innermost thoughts and emotions, connecting with the world in a way that words alone could not convey.
Greybear was also known for his bear hugs, beautiful eyes, and dazzling smile. He was exceptionally sensitive, sincere, tender and empathetic. He easily tuned in to the feelings of others. He loved his friends with his whole heart and his laugh was infectious.
Grey shared a special bond with his sister, Madeline, who was not only his sibling but also his best friend. They shared countless memories, laughter, and love. He so admired her and would choose her company first every time.
Grey’s love extended beyond his family to his two cherished dogs, Dolly and Juniper. They were his constant companions, bringing him comfort and joy every day.
Grey’s charity, creativity, intelligence, and kindness were evident in everything he did. He had a natural talent for connecting with people and making them feel understood and valued. His compassionate nature left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was always delivering gifts…
Grey Hansen is survived by his parents, Matthew and Sonya Hansen, his sister Madeline Hansen, grandparents Scott & Sherrie Hansen, Charlene Stephens, John Stephens & Donna Gines along with many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. His memory will be cherished by his family, friends, and all those who were touched by his life.
