Becki was the youngest daughter of Harold and Lillian Elmer, born on March 9th, 1958. As a young women Becki took up a career as a secretary for the Continental Bank and Trust Company and later worked for Security National Life. It was at her job with Continental Bank and Trust Company that she met her husband of 41 years Paul Buchanan.
