Barbara Blanchard Smith, 79 Passed away peacefully at home in Bryan Ohio on October 25, 2025. Barbara was born April 20, 1946, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Lester E. and Rhea Blanchard. Barbara had three brothers, Raymond, Lynn and Curtis. Barbara grew up in Centerville and graduated from Bountiful High.

Barbara enjoyed dancing and playing the sports available to girls at the time, she also enjoyed the trips to her grandparent’s farm in the Uintah basin, which usually turned into a camping and fishing trip in the Uintah Mountains.

Barbara married Robert F Smith in the Salt Lake temple on June 19, 1968. Barbara and Robert had one son, Sean.

Barbara was a devoted and loving wife and mother raising her small family in Farmington Utah, on the Family farm. Barbara was very talented she excelled in all types of crafts but her love was oil painting.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Lester and Rhea, two brothers Lynn and Curtis, and her husband of 50 years Robert.

Barbara was a wonderful spirit and touched many lives she will be missed.

Viewing will be held at Russon Brothers Mortuary Nov 7, 2025, 6pm to 8pm, 1941 N Main St. Farmington, UT

Interment will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens Nov 8, 2025, at 11 am, 1950 E 10600 S, Sandy, UT
