Bar Dee Brown

October 24, 1935 — April 25, 2026

Bountiful, UT

Bar Dee Brown, 90, of Bountiful, returned to her Heavenly Father on April 25, 2026, after long-term complications from a stroke. She was born on October 24, 1935, in Malad, Idaho, to Clifford and Thelma Jones.

Bar Dee was a devoted and loving wife to her lifelong companion and eternal mate, Wayne Brown. They were married on August 31st, 1956, in the Salt Lake Temple.

She was a friend to all who knew her. Bar Dee had a gift for making people feel special, and her spontaneous laughter could light up any room. She truly loved her life and found joy in the simple, meaningful things—time spent with family, connecting with close friends, and caring for her home.

Bar Dee had an amazing work ethic that started during her young years helping her dad with their farm in Malad, Idaho. She worked as an executive secretary for several local companies. She was known for her exceptional attention to detail and her ability to keep everything organized and in order.

She was the ultimate homemaker. Bar Dee took great pride in creating a warm and orderly home. It was often said that there was never a piece of clothing that left the house without being ironed—a reflection of the care, love, and high standards she carried into everything she did.

Above all, Bar Dee loved her family and friends deeply. She built a life centered on love, kindness, and devotion, and her influence will continue to be felt in the lives of those she touched.

Bar Dee loved serving her Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. She faithfully served in many church callings throughout her life and deeply blessed those she served. She was also a dedicated temple worker for over 20 years, finding great joy in serving the Lord by serving others.

She is survived by her sister, Lugene (Jones) Weaver; her children, David Wayne Brown, Michael Ray Brown, and Stephanie (Brown) Gale; and ten wonderful grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wayne William Brown.

She will be remembered for her strength, warmth, laughter, and the way she made others feel valued and at home. Her legacy lives on in the love she gave so freely.

The family would like to thank Highland Glen Assisted Living for the loving care of our Mom.
