Arthur G. Farnsworth

Our loving husband, father, and papa, Arthur G. Farnsworth, (Artie), peacefully returned home on April 11, 2026. He was surrounded by his caring family.

Art was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Gilbert and Shirley Farnsworth. He was a loved husband, father, and grandfather, dedicated to his family. He was always quick to lend a hand to his neighbors and friends. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Art enjoyed golfing, fishing, working in his yard, walking his dogs, and driving backroads and side streets for a bit of adventure. He will be remembered for his incredible work ethic, his love of the sea, his eclectic taste in music, and his commitment to always sharing a joke, (whether or not it was actually funny).

Art is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sharon, children Sharayne, Taylor, Abbeylin, his cherished grandson and faithful doggos, Beau and Sazzie.

He is also survived by his siblings, Corey (Debbie) Farnsworth, Steffany (Gary) Forrest, and Sherman (Shelley) Farnsworth.

He is preceded in death by daughters, Mistylee and CarrieAnne, his parents, his brother, and sisters.

In honor of Art’s wishes, no services will be held. The family extends their sincere gratitude and thanks to Dr. Tahir Zaman, (Dr. Z). They also wish to thank Applegate Hospice, especially Jacque and Bridget his nurses, for their compassionate care and support.

In lieu of flowers, please take a moment to admire a sunrise or sunset, the next full moon, or put on your favorite album and dance around the house as he so often did. We love you Papa!
