April Marie Grose

Our beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt, granddaughter, and friend, April passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 13, 2025. Her vibrant presence and warm spirit touched the lives of so many, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.

April lived a full and adventurous life. She found joy on the slopes skiing or snowboarding, loved playing solitaire, treasured family time spent camping or relaxing at Bear Lake, and never missed a chance to ride ATVs or enjoy a good book. Family was everything to her—she adored her children, nieces, and especially her grandson, Grayson Scott.

April worked in many roles throughout her life, from bartending and waitressing to public safety sanitation, and also spent cherished time as a stay-at-home mom and baby-sitting aunt—roles she held with love and pride.

She is survived by Karma; parents Scott and Jill Grose; her children Jayden (Olivia) Grose, Ashlyn Booker, and Addison Booker; grandson Grayson Scott; sister Brittany (Rocky) Watt; her loving boyfriend Ryan Mahas and his children; and many aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, and friends who will carry her memory forward.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather’s Darrell Grose and Mahlon Lundquist, as well as several other family members and dear friends.

A funeral service for April’s will be held at 11 am on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Russon Mortuary 1585 W 300 S. Syracuse, Utah.   There will be a viewing from 9:30 - 10:30 am the same day.  All who loved April are welcome to attend and honor her memory.
