Annalee Peterson McGugin

January 5, 1941 — October 30, 2025

Hyde Park, UT

Annalee Peterson McGugin passed away at her home in Hyde Park, Utah, on October 30, 2025. She was born January 5, 1941, in Springville, Utah, to Walter L. and Helen Winters Peterson.

After graduating from Bountiful High School, Annalee married LeRoy McGugin on June 13, 1959, in Salt Lake City. Together they raised three children—Kelly (Holly), Ronda (Mark) Burningham, and Matthew (Tina), who will forever be grateful for her love, patience, and gentle guidance.

Annalee was artistic, creative, and had a knack for making everything a little more beautiful. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed sharing this love with her family. She loved nature, this was evident by the bird feeders she always kept filled. She was always worried about everyone else’s comfort before her own. She placed great importance on being her best each day and found joy in life’s small and simple moments.

She leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and a lifetime of memories that remind us how lucky we were to be loved by her. She was beautiful, kind, and dearly loved—and we’ll miss her every day.

Annalee was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy, her brother Niles Peterson, and her sister Kathleen Logsdon. A private family service will be held at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
