Amber Lee Castillo

Our beautiful daughter Amber Lee Castillo passed away unexpectedly on December 23, 2023.  She was born on October 31, 1977 in Pasadena, Texas to Dana Halverson and Henry Castillo.  She graduated from Riverside High School in El Paso, Texas in 1995.  She worked for Verizon Wireless in customer service for many years then went into insurance sales with Triple A.

Since Amber was born on Halloween, it was her favorite holiday, when she was young, she wondered why everyone celebrated her birthday.  She loved all things girly, jewelry, perfume, clothes and shoes.  She loved all John Hughs movies, Pretty in Pink and Sixteen Candles.  She loved 80’s music, The Cure and The Smiths. 

We loved her and will miss her laughter.

She is survived by her mother, Dana (Chris) Halverson, Father Henry (Heidi) Castillo.  Her two daughters Violet and Lily Burgess.  Her grand-mother Geraldine Smart.  Her sisters, Jessie Halverson, Sydney Castillo and brother, Carlos Castillo.

There will be a viewing at Russon Mortuary, 1585 West 300 South, Syracuse, Ut at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 with a graveside burial at West Point City Cemetery, West Point, Utah at 1:00 p.m., January 4, 2024.
