Alma-Cheri Pace-Flandro

Alma-Cheri Pace-Flandro was born October 22,1940 in Salt Lake City to Alma Pratt Pace and Millie Juanita Pace. She is the youngest of three children. Her two older brothers were Jerry and Larry.

Cheri graduated from West High where she won awards for marksmanship.  Cheri met Gary Flandro in Utah at the Sperry Utah Engineering Laboratory. They married in the Salt Lake Temple 5/15/1961. They had four children Michelle, Tom, Terrill, and Troy.

She enjoyed dancing and going to the University of Utah Football games with her sweetheart Nick Belgarian. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Sometimes she bought way too much yarn! She would create scarfs, blankets, and infant hats.

She worked at the University of Utah hospital as a Healthcare Assistant in the new born unit.

In her retirement she liked working at Michael's and Smiths grocery store. 

She is survived  by the father of her four children, Gary Flandro, her sweetheart Nick Belgarion, her four children  Michelle (Jeff), Tom (Anna), Terrill, and Troy (Katie). She is also survived by her grandchildren Matthew, Jordan, Jacob, William, Andrew, James, Bill, Eliza, Ben, and her brother Jerry.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at the Federal Heights Building, 1300 Fairfax Road, Salt Lake City, Utah 84013, where a viewing will be held from 11:45 a.m. -12:45 p.m. prior to services.
