Ada Yvonne Overturf

Yvonne, loved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, lost her battle with cancer on June 21, 2024, at the age of 85.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Gladys Lamb and her husband Leroy Overturf. She is survived by her sisters Noretta Peterson and Kay Franson. Her children Stuart (Carolyn), Tracie (Bryon), Tonya Ashe and nine grandchildren.

She graduated from Summit High School in Coalville, Utah. She traveled to Hawaii after high school and met her forever husband Leroy. They were married September 19, 1964, in Coalville, Utah.

Yvonne was a collector of many things, including dolls, glassware, figurines, art and antiques. Von loved bowling and would go every week. Her highest score was 220 at the age of 84. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved the gospel and spent many years serving others. She had many friends and was loved by all who knew her.

The family would like to thank the many friends, family, ward members, and everyone who helped her through her trials during her last days. She felt very loved and loved all her friends and family dearly.

A viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, Utah. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at the LDS Chapel at 160 South 300 East, Centerville, Utah, where a viewing will take place from 9:30-10:45 a.m.. prior to services. Interment - Centerville City Cemetery.
