Brent C. Russon is a resident of Bountiful. He grew up in Bountiful attending Adelaide Elementary, South Davis Jr. High and Viewmont High School. Brent lived in Australia for three years with his family, where he attended Kew High School in Melbourne, Austrailia. Brent followed the footsteps of his father Milton W. Russon who, with his brothers Leo and Dale founded Russon Brothers' Mortuaries. Brent attended the California College of Mortuary Science where he graduated valedictorian. In 1987, he served as the President of the Utah Funeral Director Association. His community service includes serving as the chairman of the Bountiful Community Council and the Viewmont Community Council. He currently serves in the Utah State Funeral Service Board. Brent has more than 40 years in funeral service and brings his experience and leadership to the Russon team. Brent married Dianne Gibb, also of Bountiful and has five children, his two sons are also funeral directors working alongside their father, uncles and cousins. Russon Brothers is truly a family business.
Scott has lived almost his entire life in Davis County. A proud graduate from Viewmont High, class of 1973, he then attended the University of Utah and the California College of Mortuary Science. Scott became a licensed Funeral Director in 1979 and has been with Russon Brothers ever since. Past president of the Centerville-Utah Rotary Club, and Utah Funeral Directors Association, Scott loves to be involved in the community, with his family and his church activities, including the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Being there for a grieving family in their hour of need is felt to be a calling, a passion and an honor; one that Scott and all the staff at Russon Brothers embraces and works tirelessly to achieve. Gary is an owner of Russon Brothers Mortuaries and Crematory and is a licensed funeral director. Gary grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah but has also resided in Oakland and Anaheim California and London, England. Gary Attended the University of Utah and graduated in 1983 from Cypress College in California with his Mortuary Science Degree. His father is Dale Russon, a co-founder of Russon Brothers Mortuaries with his brothers Milt and Leo. Gary is active in his Church and community and is currently a member of the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce, the Utah Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and the University Of Utah Crimson Club. Gary married WenDee McDermaid and they have four children.
Funeral Director/General Manager
Chad was born and raised in Bountiful Utah. He graduated from Viewmont High School in 1994. In 2000 Chad graduated from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houson Texas. Chad married Jennie DeWaal of West Bountiful in 1998, they have four children and reside in Farmington.

Matthew was raised in Centerville Utah and graduated from Viewmont High School. He served an LDS mission to Argentina. Matthew attended BYU and Commonwealth Insitute of Funeral Service in Houston Texas, where he earned his degree in Mortuary Science in 2004. He is married to Stacy Petersen from Centerville and they have five children. He and his family currently live in Farmington.
Tyler James Russon
Tyler was born and raised in Bountiful, Utah. He graduated from Bountiful High school in 1995. He attended Weber State University where he received an associates degree. He then met and married Anne Vandegrift. They have four children; Bradley, Isabelle, Katelyn and Abigail. Tyler and his family now reside in Centerville Utah. Tyler graduated from the Cypress College Mortuary Science program. He has been an employee at Russon Brothers Mortuary since 1997.
Todd was born and raised in Bountiful, Ut. He graduated from Viewmont High School in 2000. He got married in 2007 to Jennfier Wilcox of Ogden. In 2008 Todd graduated from the Cypress College Mortuary Science Program in Cypress, California. They reside in Woods Cross with their 5 kids; Sadie, Stella, Calvin, Everett and Cordelia. Todd is excited to work with his Dad, Brother, and other family members in continuing the tradition at Russon Mortuary.
Funeral Director/Bountiful Manager
Kyle was born and raised in Southwestern Colorado. He served in the California Roseville Mission, attended Ricks College, and Mt. Hood Community College in Portland, Oregon, where he earned his degree in funeral service education. After graduation, he worked in Portland, Oregon as a funeral director, until joining Russon Brothers in 2007. Kyle, his wife, Shelby, two sons, Kaden and Bosten, and two daughters, Harper and Quincey, reside in Bountiful.
Caleb Heap joined
Russon Mortuary in January of 2016.He
grew up in Bend, Oregon where he learned to love the outdoors; fly fishing,
bird hunting, biking and snowboarding are still among his favorite things to
do.He graduated from the University of
Utah in 2000 and later graduated from the Mortuary Science program at Mesa
Community College.Caleb and his
beautiful wife Susan live in Salt Lake City and are the parents of four
wonderful children.Their son Davis is
the oldest of the bunch and is married to the beautiful Annie (Lawrence).Three daughters; Addi, Brynn and Leia have
all, in turn, graduated from high school and are pursuing education and work in
the local area.Helping families during
the difficult time of the loss of a loved one is something that Caleb is
honored to be able to do.
ShannonWarenski joined the Russon Brothers Mortuary in 2015. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the State of Utah.
Shannon was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, graduating from Granger High School. He later fulfilled a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the Texas San Antonio Mission. After returning from Texas, Shannon began his career in the funeral industry in 1997. During his apprenticeship, he attended Arapahoe Community College, graduating in 2002 with a 4.0 GPA and honors. He was recognized as being one of the first students in Utah to complete his funeral education online. After graduating, Shannon was instrumental in the development of the Mortuary Science Program at Salt Lake Community College. He served as an adjunct instructor from 2006-2012, program/curriculum developer, and the first PAC Committee Chairperson for the new program. In 2014 Shannon graduated Magna Cum Laude from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. With his strong background in family service and 20 plus years of serving families in Salt Lake and Davis County, Shannon has developed a great relationship with the community and enjoys serving his friends and neighbors. Shannon is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, Utah Funeral Directors Association and the Cremation Association of North America.

David L. Milius
David joined Russon Mortuary in 2014. David and his wife Kristin have 4 children, Brielle, Dawson, Dallin, and Daxton and live in West Point, Utah. After attending Cypress College Mortuary Science program in 2004, David and Kristin decided to serve as a Funeral Director here in Utah. David is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served a 2 year mission in Colorado.
Eric joined Russon
Mortuary in 2019. He was born and raised in Syracuse, Utah and is the son of J.
Michael and Marlene Moyes. Eric graduated from Clearfield High School in 2002.
After returning home from a mission in England he married Dee Dee Greenhalgh of
West Point, Utah in 2005. Eric went on to received an associate degree from
Weber State University and also from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Services
in Houston Texas and graduated in 2011 and has served the community as a
Funeral Director since. Before attending mortuary school, Eric worked at Mckay
Dee Hospital and for Home Health and Hospice and loved caring for families.
Eric and his beautiful wife Dee Dee live in Syracuse with their 5 children
Braxton, Jayden, Paisley, Kason, and Easton.
Anthony was born and raised in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. He studied at Dixie State University and graduated from the University of Utah in 2001 with a degree in Communications (emphasis in Public Relations). His wife Salina, and son George, currently reside in Kaysville. He has been active in the funeral industry for over 5 years. Anthony is proud to be a part of the Russon staff and to be able to help serve grieving families.

Susan was born and raised Salt Lake City, where she attended school. She has worked at Russon Brothers Mortuary since 1996 and enjoys serving families in their time of need. She resides in Woods Cross where she raised her two daughters, Katie & Amy.

Barbara was born in Utah then later moved to Ohio. She came back to Utah to go to college at BYU. Barbara has 6 children and 11 grandchildren of whom she is very proud. She has worked at Russon Brothers Farmington Mortuary since it opened in 2005 and loves helping the families she works with there. Barbara currently resides in Farmington.
