WOODROW E. HAYWARD

Woodrow E. Hayward, 88, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2008 after a valiant battle with cancer. He was born on May 18, 1919, the son of Albion O. and Eva Davis Hayward. He married Beebe Crane on May 8, 1946 in the Idaho Falls Temple and is survived by her and their two sons, Alan Deborah and Paul Rebecca, 7 grandchildren- Troy Michelle, Tiffany Adam, Heather Justin, Holly Brian, Audrey, Peter, Daniel, and 11 great grandchildren.

A veteran, he served in the U S Army, Pacific Theater, in World War II for 5 years. He was a past Lt. Governor of the Clearfield Kiwanis Club. Woody was a builder and constructed everything from dams to furniture. Fly fishing was a favorite pastime. He championed the under privileged. He was active in Church Sports for several years and was a High Priest in the Fruit Heights 3rd Ward.

Funeral services will be held at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 North Main, Farmington, Utah on Tuesday April 15, 2008 at 1:00 p.m.; viewing at mortuary Monday evening 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday Noon to 12:45 p.m. Burial in Farmington City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Humanitarian Fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Online guest book at www.russonmortuary.com
