Winnie Blackner Street

April 24, 1928 — November 19, 2021

Our precious mother, Winnie (Blackner) Street passed in peace at the age of 93, Friday November 19, 2021. Winnie was born April 24, 1928, in Beaver, Utah to James Walter & Margaret Ann Blackner. She was the third to youngest of seven children. She married her sweetheart, Dale Richard Street February 14, 1952, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. He preceded her in death May 7, 2013. They were blessed with four wonderful children.

Mom lived most of her married life in the same house in Centerville. She was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had many callings over the years. She had a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and was an example to her family and those around her. Mom loved her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, & great-great-grandchildren. She was happiest when they were around. She also loved quilting, cooking, baking, entertaining, reading and playing games.

Mom is survived by her children: Dianne (Steve) Warren, Margie (Todd) Bates, Curtis (Janice) Street, & Bradley (Jana) Street; 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren; sister Celeste (Ted) Covington; brother-in-law Duke Bradford.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 27, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in the Centerville LDS Ward Chapel at 900 South 400 East, Centerville, Utah. Viewings will be held at Russon Mortuary, 295 N. Main St., Bountiful, Utah on Friday, November 26, 2021, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., and at the Centerville LDS Ward Chapel on Saturday from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. prior to services.
