Virginia W. Andrus

Virginia Agnes Woolley Andrus, age 91, died January 28, 2022.
She was born November 11, 1930, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Gilpin S. and Irene V. Smith Woolley. She married Berwyn Jones Andrus on July 18, 1952, in the Salt Lake Temple.
She was reared and educated in Salt Lake City. She graduated from East High School and the University of Utah with a degree in Elementary Education.
She was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she served in all the auxiliary organizations. She served for 21 years as an ordinance worker in the Salt Lake Temple.
Virginia has given her entire life to serving others. She was a devoted and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her deep desire to serve others remained a vibrant light even in her later days.
She is survived by her husband Berwyn J. Andrus, her five children, David Andrus, Ruth (Ray) Little, Teresa (Terry) Walworth, Glen (Valyn) Andrus, and Susan (Wade) Fiscus. Twenty-one grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren also survive her.
On February 2, 2022, funeral services will be held at 11:00 am in the Bountiful 12th Ward, 1476 North 300 West, Bountiful, Utah, where friends may call Wednesday 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
