Traci Thompson

October 11, 1965 — October 3, 2021

Traci Thompson was peacefully reunited with her beloved parents on Sunday, October 3, 2021, following her battle with cancer.

Traci was born October 11, 1965, to her loving parents Clyde Keith and Sharon Walker Thompson. She attended Woods Cross high school and lived a full and wonderful life.

Traci was full of sass and spunk! She loved to joke around and tease those she loved. She had a great sense of humor and made others happy.  She had a passion for crafting and shared that love with her nieces, nephews, and even her great-nieces and great-nephews every chance she could.

Traci’s love for her nieces and nephews was boundless. She would babysit, plan late nights, and sleep overs, sneak candy bars, and never shied away from being a make-up or hair model.

She developed a number of talents including card making, coloring, scrapbooking, solitaire, and knowing exactly how to tease others to get the best reactions.

Traci loved animals and was able to befriend every pet she met. Traci inherited the Diet Coke gene from both of her parents and was known to go get a drink and go for a drive often.

Traci’s laugh was infectious and her smile bright. The world is a better place because of Traci and our family is infinitely better for having her in it.

Traci is survived by her siblings: Leslie (Dean) Winslow, Shellene (Mark) Clark, Michael (Michelle) Thompson, and Nicole (Mark) Parker, her nieces & nephews:  Hailee (Andrew) Winegar, Matthew (Ashley) Winslow, Nicholas (Kristy) Winslow, Abby (Taylor) Williams, Mandie (Josh) Johnson, Morgan (Tanner) Garner, McKay (Kylee) Clark, Mitchell (Kylie) Clark, Alex (Mikelle) Parker, Ashley Benson, Kristen (Weston) Jones, Benjamin Thompson, Allison Thompson, Aaron Thompson, and her great nieces & nephews:  Braxon & Breken Barron, Brooks & Belle Winegar, Boston Winslow, Abeni & Bram Jones, Stockton Johnson, Bentley Garner, Kira & Cambrie Benson.  She was preceded in death by her parents and great niece, Mirabel.

There will be a public viewing held Saturday, October 9, from 9:30 – 10:30am at Russon Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, Utah with a graveside service following at 11:00am at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West, Bountiful, Utah.
