Thelda Turner

Thelda Bowles Turner, age 89, passed away Monday, June 4, 2007 in Bountiful, Utah. Born March 12, 1918 in Milo, Idaho the daughter of Samuel Clifford and Sarah Elizabeth Campbell Bowles, the third of eleven children. Married John O. Ricks, later divorced. Married Morris Bennett Turner. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church. She was a loving, compassionate, and charitable lady. Survived by her children: Sarah Merese Jensen Newell; Richard Lawerance Judy; Ronald Morris Annette; Sandra May Simmons Bob; Steve Clifford Cathy; Jay Turner Shirley; niece, Beverly Kay Stephenson; 31 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren, 6 sisters and 2 brothers. Preceded in death by her husband, 2 children, DeeAnn Keller and Cindy Vest; her parents, 2 sisters and grandson Todd Turner. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 9, 2007 at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, where friends may call Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday morning 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment-Farmington City Cemetery. The family would like to express their appreciation to Avalon Care Center and Vista Hospice for their wonderful care of mother.
