Our beloved mother, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully January 16, 2022. Ruby was born February 25, 1926 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Milton and Clara Trejo. On September 7, 1942, she married Arnold Blanke, her one true love. They were happily married for nearly 70 years. Arnold passed away in 2011. Together they were blessed with four children: Judy (Brent) Morris (deceased), Patsy (Errol) Atchley (deceased), Steven Blanke (deceased) and Sherrie (Bob) Bateman; grandchildren: Brent Jr. (deceased), Carrie (Travis) Auger, Anthony Siciliano (Jeff), Eric Ontiveros, Andrea Nelson, Bobby (Melissa) Bateman, Christina Hancock; 8 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Ruby loved her family so very much and was loved by all. She will be missed so much, but will live on in so many wonderful memories.
We would like to thank Paramount Care and Rehab for the excellent loving care they gave to Ruby.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 28, 2022 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, where a viewing will be held from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. prior to services. The family asks that masks be worn at this time.
