Roy Manning

Roy William Manning age 89 passed away peacefully in his home in Bountiful on August 4th, 2007. He was born in Farmington Utah. He served in World War II as an aircraft mechanic. He retired from Hill Air Force Base in 1980. He was active in the LDS Church and served in many positions Preceded in death by his father James Elliot, his mother Zilla Walker Manning, brother Rex Walker Manning, sister Noreen M. Olsen, grandson Shane Manning. Survived by his wife Norma Burnham Manning, children: Steven James Manning, Linda Mathews, Diane Lorensen, James Burnham Manning, Carol Manning, John William Manning, Tammy Eggett, twenty grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. We miss him deeply, but find peace he has made it home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 7th at 11:00 at the Val Verda 5th Ward, 2633 S. 50 W. in Bountiful. A viewing will be held Monday August 6th from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary. A viewing will also be held from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service.
