Norma Lott Ford passed away, Sunday, May 23, 2004 surrounded by her family. She was born to Wallace A. Lott and Elsie Cook Lott in Provo, Utah on January 2, 1914. She moved to Salt Lake City as a child and continued her education there. She married her sweetheart Dale W. Ford on June 27, 1934. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on their wedding anniversary June 27, 1938. They made their home in Centerville, Utah. Norma was a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She and her husband spent ten years doing extraction work for the church. Her sweetheart passed away April 15, 1991. She worked twenty-five years for JC Penney in downtown Salt Lake City. Norma loved her friends and they loved her witty sense of humor. She loved going shopping, lunch and a good game of bridge. She spent many hours knitting, crocheting and doing needle point. She shared many items that she made with her friends and family. Her home was always a place of beauty. She loved planting flowers in the spring and having a beautiful yard. She also had a great love for decorating her home. She especially loved having her children to dinner and watching her grandchildren play in the back yard. She is survived by her children – Renae T Migliori, Janice Ralph Kinyon, D. Alan Ford, Joe Kathy Ford; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a sister Fawn Wolfe and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale; brothers, Terrall, Alden, Lynn, Jack, & Mack; sisters, LaVona, DeVere; and grandchild, Clark. Her family came first. As a devoted mother, her loyalty and commitment knew no limits. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Thursday, May 27, 2004 at the Centerville Ricks Creek Chapel, 1475 North 50 East. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Thursday morning from 11:00 – 11:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
