Nina Hess Page, wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend age 90, died peacefully Thursday Feb. 7 2008 at Orchard Cove, Bountiful Utah. Nina was born May 19, 1917 in Ogden Utah to David Willard and Elvira Nielsen Hess. She is a great granddaughter of John W. Hess, who was the Bishop of the Farmington 1st Ward when Aurelia S. Rogers formed the first Primary for the LDS Church. Nina married the love of her life, Dale Charles Page, August 8, 1942, at her parent’s home in Farmington, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Bountiful Temple. Together they had one son. Nina worked for Mountain States Telephone from which she retired after 30 years of faithful service. Nina’s retirement years were spent enjoying the company of her son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband Dale in their motor home &qoute;The Page Boy&qoute; or on the back of their Goldwing motorcycle and spending time at their winter home in Yuma AZ. Nina also enjoyed working in her yard and creating beautiful pieces of handwork such as cross-stitch, crewel and embroidery. Nina was honest in her dealings with her friends and neighbors and never failed to provide a helping hand. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mom will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Nina is survived by her son Steven MarlenePage Bountiful; two grandchildren, Michael Jonell Page and Tamara Christian Campbell and six beautiful great-grandchildren. Nina was preceded in death by her husband Dale, her parents and brothers Jesse, Vern and Dale Hess. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main. Friends and family may call from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.on Tuesday Feb. 11, 2008 at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary and again on Wednesday Feb. 12, 2008 from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment, Bountiful City Memorial Park. Special thanks are extended to the nurses, CNA’s and staff at the Inn on Barton Creek, Orchard Cove and SDCH Hospice.
