Nathan Michael Marion

February 8, 1982 — March 21, 2021

Nathan Michael Marion, 39, of Syracuse passed away unexpectedly on March 21, 2021. Nate lost his long battle with addiction. While the family is shocked and saddened, they understand his passing means freedom from the pains and struggles of this world.

Nate was born on February 8, 1982 and was raised in the loving home of Michael and Heidi Marion. It was his joy to be a big brother. That love continued through being a father to his sweet daughter, Paislee. Being a father brought him the most joy in life.

Anyone who knew Nate, knew that he was one to make a joke but was always so proud to see others succeed. He had an immense passion for all sports and was a natural athlete. Nate was always a source of historical knowledge. And even through his darkest challenges, he would turn to the Gospel and had faith in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Nate spent the last 15 months of his life attending the Red Barn Academy. We know Nate loved his time there rebuilding his life. During his time at the Farm he met many incredible leaders and friends that he looked up to. We are so proud of all the amazing progress Nate made in those 15 months.

Nate was preceded in death by Marilyn and Marvin Tovey (grandparents) and Jeff Tovey (uncle). He is survived by Paislee Marion (daughter), Michael and Heidi Marion (parents), Dr. Zachary Marion (brother), Aubrey (Jordan) Call (sister) and Ava & Anistyn Call (nieces). And many aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, Nate would want donations made to the Red Barn Academy.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 11:00 am, at the Russon Mortuary in Farmington. For those who can not attend in person, the services will be streamed on Russon Mortuary Facebookhref=”https://www.facebook.com/Russon-Mortuary-Crematory-105412734572327/
