She grew up in the Highland Park Ward, attended East High School and both Brigham Young University and the University of Utah. She was a faithful and devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in several callings, and faithfully supported Dad in his many callings. They had the opportunity of serving together as they presided over the New Mexico, Albuquerque Mission (1977-1980). She was loved and adored by her missionaries. Dad and Mom also served two more missions together to Israel and the Dominican Republic. In addition, she was a volunteer at the Beehive House, the Relief Society Building, the Church Office Building and then the Temple Clothing Department for 9 years.
