Mildred was born October 8, 1912 in Farmington, Utah to David Wallace Glover and Sarah Ann Barber Glover. She passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2007 after suffering many years with celiac sprue, macular degeneration, osteoarthritis, residue from Guillain-Barre Syndrome and various problems incident to old age. She was the youngest of eight children. Mildred married James R. Millard September 20, 1932 in Logan, Utah, which was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, May 2, 1949. Mildred spent 23 years working for Davis County School Lunch Program and 23 years for Lagoon Corp as manager of the swim shop at the old swimming pool. She worked as the prep-lady for Dee?s Family Restaurants for several years. She spent a short period of time helping out at the Governor?s mansion for Governor Rampton. She has held various positions in the LDS Church in the Primary and YWMIA organizations. She is survived by her five children: Gordon J Maxine Millard, Plain City; Paul W Sue Millard, Farmington; Joel L Millard, Sandy; Beverly Millard, Farmington; Pat Ray Allen, Kaysville. She has fifteen grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren and eighteen step-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and four step-great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, James R. Millard; three sisters, Elsie G Vivian R Williams; Corrilla G Allen Bryson; Katie L G Elmer Barber; four brothers, David Benjamin Glover, Clifton W Glover, and Byron J Ellen Glover; Valence C Hattie Glover. We would like to thank sisters from the 14th Ward and current 3rd Ward Relief Societies for services rendered to Millie over the past several years. Also, thanks to the nurses at Alpine Home Care in Ogden and the staff at Avalon Care Center in Bountiful for their kind care of Millie. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 6, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Primary Memorial Chapel at the Rock Church at 3rd North and Main Street in Farmington, Utah. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Friday morning from 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Farmington City Cemetery.
