Michele Zesiger Hendrick

March 4, 1968 — August 20, 2021

Michele Hendrick, returned to her heavenly home on 20 Aug 2021, in Augusta, Georgia. Michele was the beloved daughter of Harold and Gail Zesiger. She was married and sealed to Greg Hendrick on 18 February 1994 in the Salt Lake City Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They had the honor of spending 27 fun-loving years together. She was an incredible Mother of two children and one grandchild: Emily (Bryce) and Adeline Sorensen – Gunnison, UT; Matthew Hendrick – Logan, UT. Michele and Greg spent the first 12 years of their marriage in Utah, and the last 15 years moving around in the military. Michele was an incredible fun-loving friend to everyone she met. She had the most infectious laugh and a smile that always attracted attention wherever she went. Michele loved her family, cousins and friends and always sacrificed her time and talents to show her care, love, and devotion to them. She was a woman of many talents and served nonstop in the church. She served in almost every position possible, including teaching Seminary twice: (Fort Drum, NY and Wahiawa, HI.) She was also well known as the Missionary Mom wherever she lived, constantly looking after the spiritual health and well-being of over 100 young Missionaries out in the field. She loved sharing the Gospel with those who were not of her faith. Her selfless sacrifice and dedication in everything she did, was a true testament to her character. One of Michele’s favorite hobbies was sewing and quilting. She spent many hours perfecting this talent, only to share it in benefit of others, and to bless and enrich their lives. She loved her children and especially her granddaughter Adeline (Addie for short). MIMI, (Michele’s name for grandma), was simply in love with her granddaughter and loved to facetime and talk to her as often as possible. She was overjoyed at the thought of being a grandparent and loved and cherished every minute of it every day. Michele loved life and valued all her friendships and relationships that she made. Michele has left lasting impressions on everyone she has met. She truly exemplified a Christ like life of charity and service unto those who were in need and will be dearly missed by all.
Michele is survived by her husband, children, grandchild, parents, and sister.
