Lyle Blackley, our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, passed away March 2, 2006 in Sebastopol, California. She was bom June 21, 1917 in Marshfield, Idaho to Wesley David Vallette and Wilma Lenora Silver Vallette. She married Bert Blackley December 19, 1933 in Rupert, Idaho. Later divorced. She married Ray Blackley June 27, 1948 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They lived in Park City, Utah; Kellogg, Idaho; Ogden, Utah; Bountiful, Utah; West Jordan, Utah; back to Bountiful, Utah; and Sebastopol, California. She was an avid gardner raising and hybridizing many Iris. She won an international award for one of her Iris. She also loved growing roses and cacti. She did crocheting and plastic canvas giving many things to friends and family. She is survived by her son LeGrande Grant and wife Patricia Green Blackley of Woods Cross, Utah; a daughter Helen DeAnna and husband James Ralston of Sebastopol, California; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a sister Marjorie McLaws of Boise, Idaho; brothers Don Vallette of Pahrump, Nevada; Clarence Vallette of Burley, Idaho; Lelande Vallette of Henderson, Nevada. She was proceded in death by both parents, brothers Thayne Vallette; Stanley Vallette and Edward Vallette and a sister Verna England. A graveside service will be held Friday March 10, 2006 at 12:00 p.m. at the Heber City Cemetery under the direction of Russon Brothers Mortuary Bountiful, Utah.
