Marian Richards Landward, our loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully January 5, 2006. Born May 3, 1917 to Jane Taylor and Stayner Richards. Married John M Landward September 16, 1941 in the Salt Lake Temple. Marian graduated from the U. of U. with a degree in Home Economics and affiliated with Delta Gamma sorority. She was an active member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints and served in multiple positions. Later in life she worked as a real estate agent with Thayne and associates for 14 years. She also organized her local DUP in 1956 and remained a lifelong member.

Marian had six children whom she dearly loved and was supportive of them, her grandchildren, and great grandchildren all her life. She was pleased to have been a driving force for the rebuilding of her extended family?s cabin at the Pines Ranch which we all love. Mom had spunk, a desire to help others, and an ability to endure well. We will all miss her.
