Lydia Atkin Littleford, 90, of West Bountiful, Utah, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2007. She was born March 21, 1917 to Lydia Tuttle and Willard G. Atkin in Tooele, Utah. She grew up in a large family learning to work hard and love the gospel. Lydia married Clifford D. Littleford, March 21, 1944 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They moved to Los Angeles, California where Cliff was from and were blessed with 5 daughters. Lydia always felt life was wonderfully full with taking care of her family and serving in the Church. She worked many years in Primary and Relief Society, serving 5 years as President. She taught her daughters service by example, and guided them with love and laughter. Even after her husband?s death in 1986, she enjoyed life to the fullest with family and friends. She discovered a talent for oil paints and loved to read. She moved back to Utah in 2002 to live with her daughter and family in West Bountiful. Lydia is survived by her daughters, Sharon Miller Mitch of Sheridan, Wyoming; April Harrison Foster of West Bountiful; Donna Ramos John of Oakdale, CT; and son-in-law, Bud Andes of Saratoga Springs; by her brothers and sisters Willard Atkin of Tooele, Alene Black of Magna, Tom Atkin and Cynthia Scott of Provo and Annie Harvey of Tooele; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Telma Evans and Mary Orme, and by her daughters, Bonnie Andes and Carol Ann Littleford. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at the West Bountiful 2nd Ward Chapel, 840 North 800 West. Friends and family may call Tuesday evening from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Wednesday morning 10:00-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
