Lucille Smith Fletcher, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friends and neighbor passed away at age 89 on May 21, 2004. She was born to Clifford Ray and Hattie Coombs Smith in SLC, Utah on August 11, 1914. Lucille lived most of her life in Centerville. She married for eternity, her sweetheart and favorite dancing partner, Harry G. Fletcher in the SL Temple. They were married by President David O. McKay on October 21, 1935. Lucille served faithfully in many LDS church callings. She and Harry especially enjoyed working with the youth, teaching dancing. She was also work day director for many years. Lucille was an active sports enthusiast. She loved golf, the Jazz and the Utes. She was the first in the family to get a hole-in-one. She never missed a Jazz game. Lucille was loved for her keen sense of humor and positive outlook on life. She will be missed by all who knew her. She was a life-time care-giver, giving loving service to many in her immediate and extended family. Lucille is survived by her three sons, Greg Fletcher, Mike Fletcher Roberta and Brad Fletcher Kathy; six grandsons; eleven great-grandchildren; sister, LaVaun Jefferson and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at Monday, May 24, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Canyon Ward Chapel, 160 South 300 East, Centerville, Utah. Friends may call Sunday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Monday morning from 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
