Lucile Olsen Servoss, 84 years old, passed away October 13, 2004 at her home surrounded by her loved ones, due to complications of ovarian cancer. She was born February 1, 1920 in Monroe, Utah to Joseph Wm and Ruby Annetta Miller Olsen, the 4th of 11 children. She married Elvin Servoss December 23, 1941 in Salt Lake City, UT. Marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Lucile was truly loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed her activity in the LDS Church. She always attended Relief Society, enjoyed visiting teaching and attended the temple as often as she could, which was a special joy to her. She worked several years in the Special Needs Primary. She loved attending Golden Years Senior Citizens, doing crafts, ceramics, and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by her family. She leaves a void in our hearts that can only be filled with her memory. We?ll always remember her good attitude towards life and her famous saying ?It?s a wonderful life.? She is survived by her 7 children: Richard Janis, SLC; Alan Craig Elaine, Ogden; Larry Lilia, SLC; Kathy Houskeeper Mike, West Jordan; Michael, Bountiful; Nancy Perkins David, Kearns; Marilyn Beagley, South Salt Lake; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Neal Kenneth Bud Olsen and Halvor Olsen; 4 sisters, Evelyn Green, Virginia Richards, Marjorie Moody, and Karen Hatch. Preceded in death by her husband, Elvin; brothers, Terence Olsen and Dean Olsen; sisters, Dorothy Servoss and Grace Olsen. Services will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bountiful 5th Ward Chapel, 990 North 100 West. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Wednesday morning from 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
