Lori Michelle Burningham

Lori Michelle Burningham was born on April 24th, 1991 in Bountiful, Utah to Mark Alan and Debra Michelle Burningham. She passed away as a result of an accident on April 18th, 2021 in Kaysville, Utah. She graduated from Southern Utah University with an Associate Degree in Psychology and was attending The University of Utah part time. Lori worked as a corporate trainer in the medical insurance field and was a gifted teacher.

Lori was the light of our lives, she was incredibly smart, funny and had an unbelievably quick wit. She was a bundle of energy and joy, and just LOVED to talk. Lori had a way of making you feel important and special, she was always so kind to everyone. She loved hard and fierce; she was passionate about the people she cared about. If you didn’t know her, you might think she was shy but once she opened up her personality was immense. Whether it was siding with her brother to poke fun at her parents or playing with her nephew and niece, her laughter was contagious. Lori loved camping, cooking, and all things Disney. She loved animals, especially her two cats. She was her dad’s “little one”, something only he could call her, and she was “Lori Loo” or “Loo Loo” to her mom.

She is survived by her parents, brother Matthew Mark Burningham (Lindsey), longtime partner Neil Marrott, grandparents Adam and Cindy Ghomy, Aunt Gigi (Angela) Werrett (Mark), Aunt Laurel Beazer (Allan), Uncle Tyler Burningham (Amber), Uncle Grant Burningham (Kay), Uncle John Schmidt, nephew and niece, Lucas Mitchell and Piper Mae Burningham and many cousins. She is preceded in death by grandparents M. Burt and Carolyn Burningham, aunt Marlynn Schmidt, and cousin Chelsea Beazer.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 23, 2021 at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West. Viewings will be held Thursday evening, April 22, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and again Friday from 12:30 -1:30 p.m. at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful.
