Linda Maxine Mikkelsen

February 28, 1941 — January 19, 2022

Linda Maxine Mikkelsen was born February 28, 1941, in Missouri. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her son and friends January 19, 2022, at The Family Tree in Morgan, Utah.

She is survived by her son, Donald B. Zizic (California), daughter Keri Canady (California), and stepdaughter Shelby Rickart (SLC). She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Sydney Mikkelsen.

Linda had many jobs in her life, but the one that she loved the most was working at the American Cowboy in West Bountiful. Perhaps because she got to be around horses. She loved being around horse loving people. She had a deep affection for all the people she worked with. They became some of her dearest friends. She had several horses and loved them all, but her affection for animals was not limited to just horses. She loved cats and dogs too. If you wanted to see a big smile on her face and get her talking, ask her about one of her beloved dogs. She spoiled them all.

She never failed to show loving kindness to everyone who knew her. She wasn’t loud and overbearing, she just showed love. All who knew her commented on how much they loved her; Most likely because she loved them first.

Linda will be greatly missed.

We love you.
