Jeffrey (Jeff) Albert Kylen

April 11, 1963 — June 19, 2021

Our dear son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, Jeffrey Albert Kylen of Taylorsville, Utah returned to his Heavenly Father on June 19, 2021.    He was born on April 11, 1963 in Bountiful, Utah to Deverle Verner Kylen and Mary Bogedahl Kylen.

He spent his younger years in Centerville, Utah.   He attended J. A. Taylor Elementary School, Centerville Junior High School, and graduated from Viewmont High School.   He also attended Weber State College.

Jeff served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Oregon, Portland Mission, which he enjoyed very much.  He worked for Dick’s Market in Centerville for many years.   He was a very dedicated worker.

Jeff loved the outdoors.  He loved hiking, camping and fishing in the mountains.  He enjoyed playing the piano for his own enjoyment.  He, also enjoyed spending time at family gatherings.  He spent the last few years of his life living with his brother Cary.  They were very close.  They enjoyed many fun trips and activities together.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Deverle Verner Kylen.     He is survived by his mother, Mary Bogedahl Kylen Marcantelli; Stepfather, Dick Marcantelli;  Sisters, Shauna (Shane) Holbrook;   Brenda (Roger) Stephenson; Larna (Jay) Eubanks; Kristine (Geoffory) Anderson; Brother, Cary Kylen; and many Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the Centerville South Stake Center, 270 North 300 East, Centerville.  A viewing will be held Saturday morning 11:45-12:45 p.m. at the church prior to services.  Interment – Centerville City Cemetery.

For those unable to attend the funeral service in person, a live broadcast can be seen on the Russon Mortuary & Crematory Facebook page. The live broadcast will also be posted below at around 12:50 p.m.
