Helen Richards Paxton passed away Sept10, 2006 in Beaumont, Texas; born January 6, 1921 in Logan, Utah; graduated from East High School and attended LDS Business College. She later married Lester C. Paxton in 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She and Les enjoyed music, dancing and socializing with their many friends. She found her greatest joy in being a mother and magnifying her skills as a homemaker. She was an excellent cook and seamstress and made beautiful clothes for herself and her children. She was the head cheerleader for any of her children as they participated in sports or musical performances. She believed they could do anything. She was loving and kind to everyone she met. She was a devoted member of the LDS Church where she served in many callings in the ward and stake levels. She and her husband Les served a mission in the Los Angeles Temple Visitors Center 1985-86. They served as Temple Ordinance Workers in the Jordan Valley Temple for a number of years. She is survived by her sons Steven L. Marsha, Dan R. Diana, daughter Jill Marshall Hayes, 12 grandchildren and 15 great grand children; Sisters, Thelma Sue Jensen, Beth Farr, Betty Cahoon, and Brothers Claude & Keith Richards. Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 18th at 11:00 am at the LDS Chapel at 33 South Moss Hill Drive, 1500 East 100 South Bountiful, Utah, where friends my call from 9:45 am to 10:45 am. Interment-Lakeview Cemetery.
