ELNA BAUMGARTNER – 1914 – 2004

Heber City, Utah. Elna Andersen Baumgartner passed away Sunday, July 18, 2004 of causes incident to age.

Born April 12, 1914 to Andrew Brigham Christian Andersen and Josephine Fredricksen in Centerfield, Utah. She married Homer D. Baumgartner on December 18, 1936 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Mom was an immaculate homemaker. She was a good cook and loved to make pies. She loved to sew and was a fine seamstress. She was a gifted quilter. Because of this gift her family, as well as many others, have been blessed. If she thought you needed a quilt, you got one.

She was a member of the L.D.S. Church serving in many Relief Society and Primary positions. Mom worked at the Salt Lake Temple for many years.

She is survived by her children, Colleen Verle Tolley Heber City Utah; John Sherry Baumgartner, West Valley City; sister, Velda Arden Hoskins, Salt Lake City, Utah; 10 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

Proceeded in death by husband Homer; parents; step-father Jesse R. Holmes; brother Ervin, sisters Elvena Anderson, Rosella Holmes and Ardella Green.

A viewing will be held Thursday, July 22, 2004 from 10:00-10:45 a.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary 255 South 200 East, Salt Lake City, Utah. Graveside services will follow at the Salt Lake City Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Online guest book and directional maps are available at www.russonmortuary.com
