Elliot Francis Anderson, loving husband and father passed away Monday, May 31, 2004 in Provo, Utah. Born May 16, 1919 in Layton, Utah the son of Edward Francis Anderson and Clara Rachel Winberg. Married Gladys Winter on April 16, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a machinist by trade and loved working with his hands. He served well in the LDS Church in many ways, especially as a Stake missionary, and as a church service missionary with Gladys. He loved fixing things, helping his children, family gatherings and going for adventurous drives. All who knew him, especially his family, felt of his soft, loving, tender heart. He will be missed by very many. Survived by his wife, Gladys; daughters: Karla Anderson, West Valley City, UT; Beverly Barlow Richard, Cedar Hills, UT; Evelyn Koons, Farmington, UT; Valane Wheeler Reed, Magna, UT; son: Steve Anderson Robyn, Pleasant Grove, UT; brother: Gordon Anderson Kathryn, West Jordan, UT; sisters: Clara Barnett, Las Vegas, NV; Bea Reese, Mtn. View, CA; Elaine Kosoff, Albuquerque, NM; 37 grandchildren; 89 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, 7 brothers, 1 sister and 1 granddaughter. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 4, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bountiful 17th Ward Chapel, 2200 South 650 East. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Friday morning from 11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. at the church prior to services.
