Edith Hatch Terry has finished her course. She has kept the faith, and completed a path through mortality that embodied the word &qoute;selfless&qoute;.

Born February 10th, 1921 and raised in depression-era Woods Cross, Utah by Ezra Taft and Edith Hatch, Edith honed her experience into a keen awareness for the needs of others. Loved for her skills of compassion as well as cooking, Edith was constantly looking out for those around her, whether working for the Davis County School District, serving in the MIA in her ward, or cooking generous holiday meals for her grateful family. She is survived by her loving husband Jess, whom she married in the Salt Lake Temple on November 1st, 1945, her children Jay, Alan, Barbara, and Gordon, her seven grandchildren Joshua, Desiree, Tiffany, Erin, Katharine, Jessica, and Benjamin, and her great-grandson Jack.

She is preceded in death by her sisters Leah and Ruth, and her brothers Julian and Charlie. Her brother Mark lives in Delta.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 2nd, 2008 at the LDS ward chapel located at 825 S. 50 E. in Farmington. Viewings will be held Friday, February 1st from 6-8pm at the Russon Brothers Mortuary in Farmington. 1941 N. Main St. Farmington,across from Cherry Hilland at the church one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, feel free to make donations to the American Diabetes Association or the National Federation of the Blind.
