Dora Westenskow Wilson

June 3, 1920 — June 10, 2021

Dora Wilson, loving mother, sister, and friend was born June 3, 1920, in Ferron, Utah.  She reunited with her husband, Merrill B. Wilson on June 10, 2021.

Dora was born to James P. Westenskow and Olive Ann Rhodes.

On July 15, 2010, she was sealed to her husband, Merrill.

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she received her temple endowments on September 7, 1973. Her ward and stake callings helped prepare her for the work she did with the Los Angeles County Children’s Protective Services where she worked for 11 years.

Dora moved to Farmington in 1979 to live with her sister, Jeneal Gardner.  She worked for the Davis County Court House for two years.  Some of the highlights of her life include serving an 18-month ward mission with her husband, serving for 14 years at the introduction department with the family history genealogy program and serving for two years in various special stake temple assignments.

Dora is survived by her children, Cheryl D. Sinclair (Gary); Dennis Kirk Wilson; Pamela J. Samojedny (John); and daughter-in-law, Jeri Wilson; 13 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 10 great, great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Merrill B. Wilson, daughter, Sharlene A. Lundy and son, Blaine Wilson.

Graveside Services and Dedication of the Grave will be held Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Farmington City Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior to the services at Russon Mortuary from 9:30 -10:30 AM, located at 1941 N Main St, Farmington, UT 84025. The services will be livestreamed on Russon Brothers Mortuary Facebook page.
