Donna M Tincher

June 7, 1956 — August 9, 2021

The world was blessed with the beautiful soul of Donna Mary Tincher on June 7th, 1956. She ascended peacefully back into the starry sky of the heavens on August 9, 2021.

Mary was born the youngest of 8 children to Donna B. Sanders and Arvil “Cliff” Tincher. She was a daddy’s girl from the start. She grew up in Bountiful, Utah. She enjoyed sharing many fond memories of the shenanigans her and her siblings got into growing up there.

She was married to Sam Reese for 16 years. They raised a family together and there was never a dull moment. Her talents were unsurpassed as a homemaker and mother. From being on the sidelines cheering at every baseball game to being there for all the school activities, sewing clothes and building Barbie furniture, homemade birthday cakes, and a bedtime story every night, she did it all. Car rides always included singing along to the radio with her as she bobbed her head to the tune.

Her passion and love for her family extended into the care she showed for each of her grandkids. Her handmade gifts and crochet blankets will be cherished by all. Holidays with her were unforgettable and something she always looked forward to.  The fun and laughter were never-ending.

She was loving, feisty, determined, and had unmatched strength to get through the toughest of times. If someone was in need, she was the first one to help. There are no words to describe how much she will be missed.

Mary is survived by her children Karly (JJ) VanKomen, Josh Reese, Joby Reese, and Jina Reese. Her brothers Tom (Sharon) Sandquist, Randy (Sonia) Sandquist; sisters Bonnie Leigh and Jackie Sandquist. Grandchildren Kalia (Levi), Kelton (Kestin), Caleb, Dawson, Reagan, Tayah, Ellie, Emmy, Ashley (Robby), Brock, Bryson, Preston, Paisley, Cyler, Jordan, Keenan, Kameri and Zelly. Great-grandchildren Brynlee, James, Kolt, and Sutton.

Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Mike, Don, Fred, and Ray (aka her partner in crime), her grandson Cyle VanKomen. She was also preceded by her dear friend, Karly’s father, Kelly Nattress.

In life, we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place, no one else will ever fill.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 14th, 2021, at 11 AM.
