David Paul Baggett

Dave was born May 20, 1974 in Salt Lake City Utah. He left this life on March 8, 2021

He grew up in Bountiful Utah and graduated from Bountiful High School in 1992. He served a Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Massachusetts Boston Mission. He then went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Weber State University.

He was an extremely gifted person who loved sports, theatre, music and above all people.

He really could do anything he set his mind to. He excelled at skateboarding, snowboarding, karate, cheer, tumbling and art, just to name a few.

Although he never married and had the opportunity to have his own children, he took all his nieces and nephews under his wing and loved them as if they were his own. He was extremely protective and proud of each one of them. They meant the world to him.

He had a tender heart far more precious than gold. You did not need to know him or be around him very long to recognize that about him. He loved unconditionally.

Dave loved to travel. Even when the timing and location of a trip to any random part of the world didn’t make sense to his family. Before anyone could have a chance to reason with him whether or not it made sense to plan out the trip, he would be off experiencing it for himself.

He will be dearly missed but will always be involved in all of our lives making sure each one of us feels special.

Dave is survived by his parents Richard (Jeanette), Siblings Rick (Teresa), Brett (Kristy), Shelly, Rebecca/Widow of brother Scott (Mike), Steve (Bethany); many Nieces and Nephews and his soulmate Luisa Katoa.

Preceded in Death by Grandparents Charlie (Hattie), Leon (Iona); Brothers Mark and Scott.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at the Kaysville 22nd Ward Chapel, 201 South 600 East, Kaysville. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery. Online guest book at www.russonmortuary.com.
