G’day dear Boyer Family, It was with sadness that we learned that your great father had crossed through the Veil. Then the thought of your sweet parents dancing on the Other Side spoke chapters of such joy for them, their reunion, and new mission together. I shall always treasure the memory of practicing the organ at the Silver Spring Stake Center and was prompted that your Dad was going to be our new Bishop. I don’t know yet why that thought came to me at the organ, but I do know - - that we came to love and cherish Our Bishop Boyer as he and his celestial companion blessed our ward family. I wonder if he and all the other Silver Spring/White Oak Bishops hold a weekly bishopric meeting in their special corner?? We feel so blessed to have shared so many good experiences with your family through the years. Thank you for blessing us with your love and examples of Christ-like living. With our love, The Bill & Marilyn Fox Family

Glenn was a wonerful example and mentor to me. I am his nephew and I'm so glad I got to visit him over the past couple of years when he lived near me in the Salt Lake area. When I was a newly graduated engineer living in North Carolina I hadn't seen him in over twenty years. Somehow he found out my address and phone number. He called and invited him to have Thanksgiving dinner with his family in Bethesda, MD. That visit changed my life for the better in a very big way. I will miss him and those good visits we had talking about our Boyer family. Ira Russell Boyer

I'll always remember him not only an wonderful Bishop but also as an outstanding scout leader and stimulating Seminary teacher. I'll never forget the morning in Seminary when we came into the room and found him in a robe standing on a chair while reciting his "Silver Spring Ward" version of the "prayer" the Zoramites offered while standing high up on the Rameumptom as described in the Book of Alma. He was definitely a humble and dedicated servant of the Lord and my heart goes out to all of you, his beloved family, both immediate and extended, as well as everyone who knew and loved him who are left behind, if only for a brief moment. I know there was a joyful reunion on the other side of the veil when he passed over and am sure he will be there to welcome each of you family members when your time comes to join him in the land of pure delight where saint's immortal dwell and where pleasure banishes pain. Take care and may Heavenly Father shower his tender mercies on each of you at this difficult time.
