Chuck Bronson Brown

October 28, 1985 — July 28, 2021

Chuck Brown, a loving husband, father, uncle, brother and friend to many, passed away tragically in a vehicle accident on July 28, 2021. He was surrounded by his wife and family before succumbing to his injuries from the accident.

Chuck was born in American Samoa on October 28, 1985. He spent his childhood years enjoying swimming, dancing, listening to music, basketball, fishing and various family activities. He attended Pesega Elementary, Samoa College and the University of the South Pacific in Samoa.  Chuck’s formation as a man of God enabled him to a life of service. Helping others in need, his sense of humor, his zest for life, and especially his faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ strengthened and solidified his overall character. He was a humble man, an example of loyalty to family and friends, hardworking, loving, fun, kind, and dedicated to his wife and five sons.

Chuck married his sweetheart, Veronesse Arona Brown, on December 6, 2009. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on August 12, 2011. Chuck and Nessa went on to have their family of five boys -William (11 years old), Adrian (8 years old), Edward (7 years old), Alesano (5 years old) and Atonio (3 years old). He found great pleasure in training his sons in football drills, creating video clips and highlights of their games, and always encouraging them to do their best in everything that they do. He exemplified his love towards his 3 year old son, Atonio, whom he tenderly referred to as his “Epilepsy Warrior!”

Chuck was a loyal San Francisco 49ers and Boston Celtics fan. He supported all of his kids, nephews and nieces sports teams and was their biggest cheerleader. He certainly was their guide from the sidelines in every sporting event!

Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Nessa and his five sons, William, Adrian, Edward, Alesano and Atonio, his parents, William and Lupe Brown, his siblings, Viliamu Jr. Brown (Jane), Elayne Brown (Henry), Krislaine (sister), Adrian James Brown, his daughter, Jaz, Levale Niko Ene(Ruta),  and Su’ega (adopted sister).

Close- knit to Chuck are Tutasi Sopoaga, Makulata, Nella(Jeff), Sam, Tamara and Junior.

Funeral services: Visitation will be held on Friday, August 6th, from 9:30 -10:45 am at the Vaiola Ward, 55 East 350 North, North Salt Lake, Utah, where a Bishops Service will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will be at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
